Loreen creates unique mixed media fabric sculptures, including garden fairies and other whimsical creatures.

Beginning with a wire armature and an idea, she builds up the figures with a variety of common materials. The final “wrapping” is cloth treated with a fabric hardener called PowerTex. This makes the figures suitable for three seasons outdoors, though most people choose to keep them inside.

The playfulness of these charming magical creatures brings a little joy into people’s lives.
